Who We Serve.
The pantry is available to anyone living within the geographic bounds of the Lindale Independent School District (LISD). There are NO financial requirements.
Most weeks we have “overstock” items available on the porch on Friday mornings from 8:30am to 10:3oam. The “overstock” items vary, but usually include fresh produce, miscellaneous frozen items (prepared rotisserie and fried chicken, corn, mashed potatoes, etc.), bakery, and “damaged containers” (canned goods, cereal boxes, etc. These items are still good but the outer packaging may be dented or damaged). These items are available to anyone and are first come/first served.
What You Need.
Proof of address (e.g., recent utility bill, rental agreement, etc) is required to sign up and then is required annually to renew your option to shop at the Food Pantry.
When to Go.
The pantry's month always begins on the first Tuesday of the month. Every month we are open the first Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30am to 10:30am, the second Tuesday from 5:30pm to 6:45pm, the third Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30am to 10:30am, the fourth Tuesday from 5:30pm to 6:45pm and the fourth Wednesday from 8:30am to 10:30pm.
NOTE: There are some exceptions to the days when there is a 5th Tuesday and when the month begins on a Wednesday. Please check the calendar below to see the most up-to-date times.
