David Powell Community Food Pantry

Southwest corner of the ChristPoint Methodist Church Lindale campus: 903-881-8409

 

The David Powell Community Food Pantry serves more than 350 families, all of whom live within the geographical bounds of the Lindale Independent School District.

 

Please visit the Pantry page for updates on procedures. The Pantry is open in the morning on the first and third Tuesday and on the Wednesday that follows, and on second and fourth Tuesday evenings. Please visit the calendar to see the most up-to-date times. The Pantry is located at the southwest corner of the ChristPoint Methodist Church campus (behind the parking lot).

We Care Thrift Store

We Care Thrifty Store carries clothing and small household items which have been donated and then sold for a minimal price.

​

All money raised helps to purchase food for the Food Pantry.

Bethesda Health Clinic of Lindale

Located in the David Powell Community Food Pantry Building - Southwest corner of the ChristPoint Methodist Church Lindale campus

Bethesda Health Clinic in Lindale provides quality, affordable care close to home and is available for hard-working adults 18-64 who are uninsured.  

Instead of going to the ER for routine medical needs, we give our patients a primary medical home at an affordable price. Office visits are $20 or $30, depending on income. There are no geographic restrictions concerning where you live.

We treat chronic disease such as diabetes and hypertension, and we help with some medications. 

​

Bethesda Health Clinic - Lindale is open every other Monday.

Lindale WIC Office
(Women, Infants, and Children)

WIC is a supplemental nutrition program that helps pregnant women, new mothers, and young children eat well, learn about nutrition, and stay healthy.

WIC provides health information and referrals; nutrition assessment and counseling; healthy foods for women, infants, and children; and breastfeeding counseling and training.

 

The Lindale WIC office is located within the David Powell Community Food Pantry and is open Thursdays between 9:30am and 4:30pm.
